Dr. Karen E. Fischer was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. Her father was in the dental field and inspired her to go into dentistry. After pursuing a career in dental hygiene, she decided to go to dental school. She worked her way through dental school, working in dental offices, learning all aspects of dentistry. She was able to observe many dentists in their field and learned hands-on from some of the best.
Dr. Fischer focuses her practice on the prevention of dental disease by educating her patients. This enables her to practice conservative dentistry and keep costs low for her patients.
Dr. Fischer was selected by The Dental Advisor to be a clinical consultant. This requires evaluating many products for their quality and usefulness in the dental field. She has also been selected by her peers as a "Top Dentist" since 1988. Dr. Fischer has lectured internationally on the field of implants. She also taught clinical dentistry at the Indiana University School of Dentistry for several years. She earned her Fellowship into the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007 and was a sustaining member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She enjoys practicing preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Fischer and her husband have resided in Noblesville, Indiana for over 25 years.
